William Fisher joined the Ole Miss Athletics Foundation in July 2021 as an Associate Director for Development. William’s responsibilities include the development of philanthropic major gifts to the Vaught Society, serving all 18 sports at Ole Miss.
Prior to his arrival at the Ole Miss Athletics Foundation, William spent three years in University Development. In that role, he was the development officer for the School of Applied Sciences and the School of Journalism and New Media, where he worked to secure private funding to meet the needs of each of those units.
William, a native of Greenwood, received his undergraduate degree in Liberal Studies from the University of Mississippi in 2016. Most recently, he earned a masters in Higher Education from Ole Miss in 2018. Fisher is a third-generation alumnus of the University.
William lives in Oxford with his wife, Bess, who is a 2017 graduate of the University and a current law student and their black lab, Kate.
