Quinn Kavanagh

Quinn Kavanagh is a Director of Development for the Ole Miss Athletics Foundation as of July 2023.

Kavanagh joined the Ole Miss Athletics Foundation in July 2021 as an Associate Director for Development. Quinn’s responsibilities include the development of philanthropic major gifts to the Vaught Society, serving all 18 sports at Ole Miss. His territory stretches the entire Eastern Seaboard for OMAF, while also concentrating on areas in Mississippi and Lower Alabama.

He previously served as an Assistant Director of Development at Penn State University, where he specialized in the Nittany Lion Club Annual Fund. Kavanagh started full-time in the industry upon completion of his undergraduate degree as the Annual Giving and Stewardship Coordinator at his alma mater, Indiana University, assisting with various aspects of the development department.

No stranger to intercollegiate athletics, his father, Ken Kavanagh, is a 35+ year veteran in athletics administration having Director of Athletics stints at Bradley University and Florida Gulf Coast University. Also, his great-uncle, Kevin Kavanagh, was the former baseball coach and Athletics Director at Loyola College in Baltimore.

A native of Fort Myers, FL, Quinn earned his B.S. in Informatics from Indiana University with a minor from the Kelley School of Business in 2018. Kavanagh received his Master of Professional Studies in Psychology of Leadership through Penn State’s World Campus in August of 2021. He is a member of the National Association of Collegiate Directors of Athletics (NACDA) and National Association of Athletic Development Directors (NAADD). Quinn resides in Oxford with his wife, Grace.
