There are 2 methods to obtain seats for the 2019-20 basketball season.

Option 1 – Lock in your seats now with a CGA

Step 1: Sign a Capital Gift Agreement (CGA)
See the Pavilion seating diagram below for details on prorated CGA amounts. By signing a CGA, you get the following great benefits:

  • Lock in your seats through the 2024 season
  • Pick your seats today
  • Fixed per-seat donation through the 2024 season (see below for per-seat donations)
  • Transferability

Step 2: Purchase your men’s basketball season tickets and parking pass by the deadline July 31, 2019. Parking passes that are requested by July 31st are allocated by blue priority points using the online selection process in September*.
Step 3: Make the required per-seat annual donation. See below for per-seat donations.

*Season ticket holders who have signed a CGA for a club area will receive 1 complimentary parking pass with their season ticket order.

REMINDER: If you purchased season tickets for the 2018-19 basketball season but have not signed a CGA by April 15th, you will re-select your seats for the 2019-20 season. The only way to guarantee your seat year after year is by committing to a Capital Gift Agreement.

Information on the Tax Cuts and Jobs Act

The recently passed Tax Cuts and Jobs Act may affect your charitable contributions to the Ole Miss Athletics Foundation. Previously, Internal Revenue Code section 170(l) allowed for an 80% charitable deduction for donations given resulting in a right to purchase seating in athletic venues. The new tax bill has eliminated this charitable deduction. This change is effective January 1, 2018. Donations made for seating before December 31, 2017 follow the previously effective tax law in place and receive charitable contribution credit for tax deduction purposes. Although the allowance for deductibility has changed in 2018, the priority seating programs in our venues will continue.

Donations to the Annual Fund above and beyond the priority seating amounts will be treated as 90% charitable, as these are not tied to your seating purchases.
